Oakland’s District 1 represents the northwest corner of Oakland, extending from Highway 580 and Highway 13 to Berkeley and Emeryville.

The neighborhoods in District 1 include: Adams Point, Bushrod, Golden Gate, Longfellow, Mosswood, Piedmont Avenue, Rockridge, Santa Fe Temescal and Upper Rockridge.

Schools in District 1 are: Chabot Elementary, Claremont Middle, Emerson Elementary, Oakland Tech, Peralta Elementary, Piedmont Avenue Elementary, and Sankofa United
